In the photo above, you will see Sophie with her classmates, a sweet country girl from Wilson County who loves animals, four-wheelers, swimming, and dressing up like a princess. Sophie has autism and a regular classroom doesn't meet her learning needs. Her inability to fully integrate into a regular classroom leads to outbursts and frustration for students like Sophie.
The Bluespring Day School, located in Mt. Juliet, TN, exists for students like Sophie. All educational programs and staff are rooted in the foundations of applied behavior analysis and we are designing individualized special education plans for students with autism and other intellectual disabilities.
Why is a school like this important? There are more students like Sophie in our program and throughout the Middle Tennessee community who need a specialized school and services to meet their learning needs and to also give them the same chance at educational success other children have.
